Founder of The Hawaiian Jiu-Jitsu System

Professor Alex Limbaugh, Hachidan
Director of The Hawaiian Jiu-Jitsu System

The main purpose of the Hawaiian Jiu-Jitsu System founded and incorporated in 1971 by Professor Bill Beach, is to provide a teaching/learning network of resources with the aim of perpetuating the Kodenkan-Dan Zan Ryu ju-jitsu system founded by Master Henry Seishiro Okazaki, and to develop the mind-body-spirit of each student and member to their fullest potential.

In practical terms, the aim is to provide a complete program of instruction designed to teach the individual to face and defeat a trained, professional fighter, armed and unarmed, by giving him the resources for a well-rounded martial arts education.
